We had a fantastic time Wednesday night at AYF! Forty-five (count ‘em-45!) students turned out for some super worship and a Rob Bell video called “Rhythm.” We broke into discussion groups to talk about living our lives in tune with God. Props to our awesome seniors (14, I think) for leading the discussion groups. We’ve heard feedback of fruitful discussions- if you want to continue, you can post a comment (this is a blog, after all). Oh yeah, the calendar works now- really =)
Some Important Reminders:
1. If you are going to Williamsport on Friday night, please be at the church by 5:15 pm (earlier is better), and bring some money for entrance to the football game, snacks, and ice cream with the Fishers. ($10-$15, depending on how much you plan to ea)
2. The last day to sign up and pay for Switchfoot/Relient K is Sunday!!! Just signing up will not get you a ticket- you need to actually turn in the money ($20) by Sunday @ 6pm. The men’s ministry will be collecting $ on Sunday morning. The preferable payment is a check made out to the church (write concert ticket on the memo line), but you can also pay in cash as long as you put it in an envelope with your name on it!
3. Broomball- come on out and bring your friends. AYF is paying for friends who are new visitors, everyone else should bring $5. And real shoes, no flip flops.
